Attention Continental Currency Exchange Clients: If you are a current client of Continental Currency Exchange you may be eligible for the below offer subject to the below terms and conditions.
*All other policies of Continental Currency Exchange continue to apply in conjunction with the below terms and conditions.
PART 1 – Definitions
“CCE Employee” means all Continental Currency Exchange employees
“Eligible CCE Client” means a client who:
- current client of Continental Currency Exchange over the age of 18;
- completes a purchase or sale of foreign cash with CCE during the promotional period and whose posed rate is less advantageous than the terms of the promotional offer set out in Section 2 PART 2
- Provides the Promo Code to CCE before rates are agreed upon or transaction is complete
- Is present at a CCE location at the time of the transaction.
“Promotional Offer” means the offer as defined in section 1 of PART 2 below;
“Promotional Period” means the period starting when branches open on January 15th 2026 for Dominican Pesos (DOP) January 22nd 2026 for Mexican Pesos (MXN) and January 29tht 2026 for Costa Rican Colon (CRC) and ending when branches close on these respective days.
“Posted Rate” means the currency exchange rate set by Continental Currency Exchange;
“Qualifying Criteria” means the conditions set out in section 2 of PART 2 below
“Terms” means these terms and conditions that govern this Promotional Offer;
“you” and “your” means any Eligible CCE Client;
“we”, “us”, “our” and “CCE” means Continental Currency Exchange or any of its affiliates and principals as appliable;
“PAD” in reference to the product Pre-Authorized Debit & Deposit.
“Cash” in reference to physical foreign banknotes currently in circulation and accepted by CCE during the promotional period at a CCE location.
PART 2 – Promotion
Provided you fulfil the Qualifying Criteria in section 2 and the conditions set out in section 3 below:
Continental Currency Exchange will offer a discounted rate (tier 3) on the client’s purchase of MXN, CRC or THB or an equivalent discount off the Posted Rate, the client will also have the $4.00 CAD service fee waived if they provide the following discount code, as it pertains to each currency on the date the offer is valid. to a CCE employee: DOP_1526, MXN_2226, & CRC_2926
- How to qualify for the Promotional Offer:
To qualify for the Promotional offer you must:
- Be an Eligible CCE Client;
- Buying and/or selling the specified foreign cash while visiting a CCE Branch;
- And whose posed rate is less advantageous than the terms of the promotional offer set out in Section 2 PART 2
- Present the discount code in print, visually sharing on their mobile device or verbally; or is informed of the promotion by CCE staff
- At the time of the transaction and prior to the processing of payment.
- Conditions that apply to the Promotional Offer
The following Terms also apply to the Promotional Offer:
- The Promotional Offer is available to Eligible CCE Clients only.
- The Promotional Offer is available in branch to new or existing clients only;
- The Promotional Offer can be used any number of times during the Promotional Period; and
- The Promotional Offer does not apply to any:
- Pre-Authorized Debit & Deposit;
- electronic funds transfers (EFT)
- Canadian currency cheques;
- The sale of the currency from the client to CCE
- American currency cheques; and
- Any transaction that is precluded by the laws of the province of Ontario and the federal laws applicable in Ontario.
- Additional Conditions that apply to the Promotional Offer
- Except as described herein, the Promotional Offer and these Terms, do not, in any way, affect any services fees and standard terms and conditions related to the operation of any of our other services.
- Except as described herein, the Promotional Offer does not combine with any other existing offering by CCE.
- We reserve the right to cancel the Promotional Offer at any time and for any reason, at our sole and complete discretion without notice.
- The Promotional Offer is restricted and applicable exclusively for the purchase and sale of foreign bank notes/currency by you.
- We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend, disqualify, limit or revoke the Promotional Offer for any Eligible CCE Client we determine or believe to be manipulating or otherwise abusing the process, fairness, integrity or operation of the Promotional Offer, including any person whose overall client relationship with us is, in our sole opinion, not in good standing.
- In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the content of any document, brochure or promotional material of CCE, these Terms shall prevail.
PART 3 – General Terms
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the province of Ontario and the federal laws applicable in Ontario, without reference to conflict of laws provisions.
Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and CCE regarding your participation in the Promotional Offer.
No warranties or representations: Except as expressly contained in these Terms, there are no conditions, representations, warranties, express or implied, statutory or otherwise.
Interpretation of Promotional Offer: CCE has the sole and final authority as to the interpretation of these Terms. In the event that any provision in these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions of the Promotional Offer’s Terms.
